IMPD investigating mysterious pond death on city’s northwest side

Indianapolis, Indiana – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) is currently investigating a concerning discovery made on the city’s northwest side. On the afternoon of September 19, officers were alerted to the presence of a body in a pond situated behind The Village at Eagle Creek condominiums.

The report, which was made around 2 p.m., prompted an immediate response from local law enforcement. On arrival at the location in the 4300 block of Village Parkway Circle West, near West 46th Street and Eagle Creek Parkway, officers were able to confirm the presence of a man’s body in the pond.

As of now, the circumstances leading to the man’s death remain a mystery. The IMPD has yet to release any details regarding the potential cause of death or the identity of the deceased. Further investigations are ongoing, and the police will be working diligently to unravel the series of events leading up to this unfortunate discovery.
