Mysterious deaths near Indianapolis school prompt investigation

Indianapolis, Indiana – Three individuals were discovered dead inside a vehicle on Monday morning, as reported by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD).

The investigation is ongoing in the vicinity of the 6100 block of Gateway Drive. Notably, this location is adjacent to Jonathan Jennings School 109, an establishment under the Indianapolis Public School system.

Authorities have not released details regarding the cause of the deaths. In addition to the three deceased, a fourth individual was located by the IMPD and subsequently transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment.

In a formal statement on Monday, Marc Ransford, the Media Relations Coordinator for Indianapolis Public Schools, confirmed their knowledge of the situation, stating, “aware of an incident this morning outside of Jonathan Jennings School 109. A car, with several deceased people and one intoxicated person inside, was parked on a lot at the school.”

Furthermore, as a precautionary measure, school buses were redirected to ensure they did not approach the investigative site, as mentioned by Mr. Ransford.
