Gunfire incident damages Indianapolis Waffle House, investigation ongoing

Indianapolis, Indiana – A local Waffle House establishment on the southern side of Indianapolis experienced an early morning disturbance as a result of a gunfire incident in the adjacent parking lot this Wednesday.

A police report lodged by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) revealed that the incident involved multiple male suspects. It is asserted that their altercation in the parking area escalated to a point where bullets were discharged, causing damage to the Waffle House premises.

The incident unfolded around 1:41 a.m. at the Waffle House branch situated at 4031 E. Southport Road.

Remarkably, there were no injuries reported from the incident, even though there were several customers inside the establishment during the eruption of gunfire, the report detailed.

As of the time of reporting, there have been no arrests related to this incident.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has reassured the public that they are actively conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.
