Death investigation ongoing after body discovered in Fall Creek, Indianapolis

Indianapolis, Indiana – Authorities in Indianapolis are currently conducting an investigation following the discovery of a body in Fall Creek on Thursday morning.

On Aug. 31, at approximately 11:30 a.m., officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) were alerted to a body located in the waters of the 800 block of Burdsal Parkway.

This location is in proximity to West 24th Street and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street. Upon their arrival, officers confirmed the individual was dead. Further details are awaited as the investigation progresses.
