Indianapolis, Indiana – In the early hours of Saturday morning, a hit-and-run incident resulting in a fatal casualty transpired on the near north side, according to local law enforcement.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department dispatched officers to the junction of 33rd and Illinois Streets following a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, investigators discovered a male individual who had suffered severe trauma injuries. Tragically, emergency services pronounced him dead at the scene.
