Serious two-vehicle crash on US 31 and Southport Road leaves two people injured
Indianapolis, Indiana – Officers from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department are currently present at the site of a grave collision situated on the city’s southern perimeter.
As reported by the department, law enforcement personnel were alerted to the incident at the intersection of US 31 and Southport Road. The mishap occurred shortly before the break of day at 6 a.m. and involved a pair of vehicles.
Preliminary investigations indicate that a vehicle was moving in a southbound direction when it deviated from its lane, crossing into the center and subsequently colliding with another vehicle traversing the northbound lanes. According to police reports, this collision resulted in injuries to two individuals, one of whom is in critical condition.
