Investigation underway after east side shooting in Indianapolis
Indianapolis, Indiana – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) is currently conducting an investigation in response to a shooting incident on the east side of the city.
The IMPD reported that they were alerted to an incident involving gunfire on the 3000 block of N. Downey Ave. Before law enforcement could reach the scene, they were advised that the victims were being transported independently to the Community East Hospital.
Upon arrival at the hospital, IMPD officers were able to confirm the presence of two individuals who had sustained injuries as a result of gunshot wounds.
As per the information provided by the IMPD, both victims are currently in stable condition.
