Indianapolis police investigate shooting that injured three on North Chester Avenue
Indianapolis, Indiana – In the early hours of Sunday morning, a violent incident unfolded on Indy’s east side, resulting in injuries to three individuals. The shooting occurred in the 1500 block of North Chester Avenue around 3:30 a.m., according to a police report from the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD).
The victims, two men and a woman, were caught in the gunfire under circumstances that remain under investigation. While the current condition of the victims has not been disclosed by IMPD, the presence of three firearms at the scene has been confirmed. These weapons have been collected and are undergoing examination as part of the evidence-gathering process.
