Task force investigation leads to major seizure at Indianapolis southeast side residence

Indianapolis, Indiana – The Indiana Crime Guns Task Force (ICGTF) recently conducted an investigation that resulted in the confiscation of illegal firearms, machine gun conversion devices, money, and narcotics.

ICGTF detectives focused their investigation on Anthony Batres-Abarca, a 28-year-old individual.

While executing a search warrant at a residence on the Indianapolis southeast side, known to be associated with Batres-Abarca, the task force secured 30 firearms, five machine gun conversion devices, over $18,000 in cash, and fentanyl pills.

Anthony Batres-Abarca now faces charges for narcotics distribution and machine gun possession.
