Juvenile in critical condition following shooting on Indianapolis’ near east side

Indianapolis, Indiana – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has reported a juvenile critically injured due to a shooting incident on the near east side of the city.

The police responded to a distress call at approximately 2 p.m. regarding a shooting at a residence located at 1232 N. Tuxedo St.

Upon arrival, authorities discovered a juvenile who had suffered from a gunshot wound. The individual was swiftly transported to Riley Hospital and is currently in critical condition.

Preliminary investigations by the police indicate that the incident may have been an unfortunate accident.
