INDOT installs new ‘More to Discover IN Indiana’ signs

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) is in the process of setting up new signage along the state’s thoroughfares.

Photos revealing the installation of these signs along Interstate 69 were released by the department on Monday. The signs prominently feature the phrase “More to Discover IN Indiana.”

These signs, first introduced to the public by Governor Eric Holcomb and INDOT officials earlier this week, are part of a state-wide initiative to promote Indiana’s distinctiveness and attractiveness.

INDOT has stated that it intends to put up 19 such signs along interstate highways by May 26, just ahead of the anticipated increase in traffic due to the Indy 500 event.

The department’s plans extend further into the summer, with an additional 57 signs set to be installed along non-interstate routes by the end of June.
