Indianapolis woman arrested following traffic violations in Marshall County

In the vicinity of Veteran’s Parkway and Lilac Road in Marshall County, an Indianapolis woman was arrested on Friday, June 23rd, following a traffic control incident.

Reportedly, the driver had committed several traffic offenses, prompting the stop. Upon further investigation, authorities determined that the woman was operating a vehicle with a pre-existing knowledge of her suspended driving license. In the course of a search of her vehicle, police officials discovered marijuana, as stated in the report.

The individual identified as Dai Beard, a 21-year-old, was subsequently apprehended. She was then transported to the Marshall County Jail, where she was temporarily held under preliminary charges. These included operating a vehicle while having prior knowledge of a suspended license, and possession of marijuana.

The formal charges against Ms. Beard will be ascertained by the Marshall County Prosecutor’s Office. It should be noted that all suspects are considered innocent until they are proven guilty in a judicial proceeding.
