Robber flees with over $1,000 from Wendy’s restaurant

Indianapolis, Indiana – In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a robbery occurred at a Wendy’s restaurant located on the south side of Indianapolis.

The perpetrator, armed with a handgun, made off with a sum of over $1,000, according to the police.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department was summoned to the scene at around 5:25 a.m. on reports of an armed robbery that had just taken place.

Upon arriving at the Wendy’s restaurant, officers interviewed numerous employees and witnesses, all of whom confirmed that a robbery had just occurred.

The IMPD incident report, which detailed the account, lists the suspect as a female, but no further information was provided.

The report indicates that a handgun was used in the robbery, and the suspect made away with roughly $1,450 in cash.

Although the investigation is still underway, the police department has released images of the suspect, hoping that the public will come forward with any information that could help them solve the crime.
