Two unclaimed $50,000 Powerball tickets in Indiana nearing expiration deadlines

Indianapolis, Indiana – Lottery officials are urging players across Indiana to check their tickets after two Powerball prizes worth $50,000 each remain unclaimed and are approaching their expiration deadlines. If the winning tickets are not presented in time, the prize money will be forfeited.
According to lottery officials, both tickets matched four white balls and the Powerball number, qualifying each for a $50,000 prize. The tickets were sold in different cities and correspond to separate drawings held in late summer 2025.
Two Tickets Near Expiration
One of the winning tickets was purchased at Indy Mart, located at 3005 E. 10th St. in Indianapolis, for the August 30, 2025 drawing. The deadline to claim this prize is February 26. The winning ticket must be claimed no later than 4:30 p.m. ET on that date at the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office, located at 1302 N. Meridian St. in Indianapolis.
The second winning ticket was purchased at Lassus Handy Dandy #46, located at 8830 Coldwater Rd. in Fort Wayne, for the September 6, 2025 drawing. This prize will expire on March 5, and the winning ticket must be claimed no later than 4:30 p.m. ET that day at the same Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office in Indianapolis.
Lottery officials stress that tickets must be presented in person before the deadline. Failure to do so will result in the loss of the prize.
