Police raid uncovers drugs, weapons, and stolen property; four arrested

Last week, a raid on a Rensselaer residence resulted in the arrest of four individuals and a seizure of drugs, weapons, and suspected stolen property.

The raid was conducted by Rensselaer Police and Jasper County deputies after a thorough investigation, leading to the arrest of Gary Mullins, 53, Kim Angle, 63, Carina Minix, 52, and Tim Angle, 65.

During the search, officers uncovered an array of illicit items including marijuana, methamphetamine, prescription pills, and paraphernalia. In addition, a handgun and undisclosed suspected stolen property were found in the yard.

As a result of the raid, all four subjects were booked into Jasper County Jail and are now facing multiple charges, including Possession of Methamphetamine and Maintaining a Common Nuisance, both level 6 felonies.

Angle faces an additional level 4 felony charge for possession of a handgun by a serious violent felon.

Police are urging anyone with information about criminal activity to come forward and contact law enforcement immediately.

The investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
