IMPD announces arrest of a 25-year-old suspect in multiple Westlake Apartments burglaries

Indianapolis, Indiana – The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has confirmed the arrest of an individual believed to be connected to a series of burglaries.

Davion Bond, 25, is currently under investigation for potential involvement in up to 15 burglary incidents over recent months in proximity to the Westlake Apartments.

Mr. Bond was apprehended the previous week. The authorities located him in an unoccupied residence. At the time of his arrest, Bond was found in possession of a handgun and has since been charged with both robbery and burglary.

The operation included the collaboration of the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, which provided assistance to the IMPD SWAT team. The next steps involve the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, which will assess the evidence and determine the final charges.
